The Great Plague was worst in 1665.
It was spread by infected fleas biting rats, then the rats get the disease. When a disease free flea bites the rat, then this flea is now infected, then it jumps on to a person then bites them, then they have the disease.
It was a disease that could kill you and over five days there would be five different symptoms.
Day one you have swelling all over your body.
Day two you have severe vomiting.
Day three you have internal bleeding.
Day four you have severe spasms.
Day five your lumps explode with black ooze flowing out.
if you live through all five days you will be fine.
when someone in your family got the plague you would be locked in for 40 days and nights and your house was marked with a red cross.
it killed meany millions of people who were tossed on to a cart and then slung in to a pit.
This made an extremely grotesque smell and if you went to close you could get the disease.
